Arts Help is calling volunteers to support the Global Climate Strike taking place in Toronto this Friday, September 23rd!
Extreme weather, natural disasters and food insecurity are only some of the telling signs of the climate crisis we face today. The world is far behind on the commitment of keeping temperature increases below 1.5 degrees Celsius. The time to act is now. We need to show the governments of the world that tackling climate change must be our top priority.
As an advocate for sustainability, Arts Help is committed to supporting artists engaging in social and environmental justice. We invite our community to come out to the streets and stand up for the future of the world! The meeting place will be at Queen’s Park, with the rally starting at 2pm and the march at 3pm.
